Mary O’Brien, an Interior Designer of mko designs, was challenged with turning a small one bedroom condo, with limited storage, into a “green” functional living space. By using no VOC paints and closet systems, the condo was given an inexpensive update with increased storage space.
Benjamin Moore’s “green” no VOC paint, was selected for the walls because it eliminates “off gassing” during the painting process. This allows the resident to quickly return to the space without smelling the odor of paint.
For those with allergies, asthma, headaches, or other sensitivities, the no VOC paint helps prevent these issues.
Recommending the closet storage systems doubled the resident’s storage. This allowed her to organize and utilize the space more efficiently and effectively.
